i was waiting at an intersection to cross when a random lady started screaming at me about how dogs shapeshifting to humans or something. now, i get it. due to the nature of shapeshifters, one cannot definitively prove that they don't exist since they would look indistinguishable from people. however, this fear about them relies on the assumption that they are inherently evil. maybe they're just trying to fit in.
