yknow seeing the news and income inequality increasing it's like bruh. ain't no way we let this happen. i lowk just want to study econ so that i can be in a position to maybe make a change. also being a government economist sounds like a cool thing to put on a resume. maybe then there won't be any haters being like "ermmmm yea but how does your major affect everyday people" like they say with astronomers and cosmologists. i guess it's mainly self serving tho, for my ego, like a major that seems important but isn't like insane. i never was really good at science. if i wanted to truly seem gifted, maybe i shoulda gone with something like mechanical engineering or data science. my father has always wanted me to do something more hands-on.
