I'm watching My Neighbor Totoro with my family on a laptop to pass the time, and it's made me realize how many traditional things I'd do and have fond memories of doing I've forgotten about. From my dad playing electric guitar for me, to the places I'd drive past every day, to the people I spoke to. It's a bit depressing to think about how ineffective the human mind can be sometimes.
